ABOUT THE ARTWORK

THE MAKING
Each of Karnaraaga’s jewellery are hand made to ensure embossing details and intricate patterns. The mount board is first cut into the desired shape. An embossing effect is obtained by the artisan’s delicate gesso strokes which ultimately comes to life when painted with glittering gold. The designs are completed by adding on other enigmatic details.
